What I like about this machine is that even though it is intended for advanced sewers, the Janome Memory Craft 6300P is also a good sewing machine for intermediate users. With a well-designed instruction manual, this sewing machine can be used within hours of delivery and works well on various sizes of projects.

Boasting of a built-in thread counter, this model is outfitted with a knee lifter. This knee lifter is designed to make it easier for users to lift the pressure foot. Quilters can enjoy having plenty of space for even their largest project. It has a nine inch by five inch space devoted to sewing quilts. In addition, it contains an advanced feed mechanism that makes it extremely capable of handling larger fabric sizes.

Pros:
  • Very Fast & Efficient
  • Quiet
Cons:
  • Lacks a Free Arm

To me, when it comes to speed and power, the Janome MC6300P stands a class above its peers. It boasts of a stitch that looks like it was sewn by hand and a built-in thread trimmer. Instead of having to cut threads, the sewing matching will cut them on its own at the end of the seam. Other efficient features include a separate bobbin winder motor. By having the winder motor attached separately, users can wind their bobbins while they are still sewing their project together. To add to this delightful feature, users will receive an extra-long sewing bed and a heavy duty motor. Comprised of primarily metal, this sewing machine is made to take a beating.

Known for having repeat customers, the Janome MC-6300P makes it easy to see why. With its numerous features, high speed and extension table, it iss made with the advanced seamstress in mind. From sewing clothing to creating curtains, this sewing machine can handle it all. Quiet and easy to operate, it replaces the drone of older machines with a soft purr.

Customers who have used the Janome MC6300P say that the bobbin winder is especially speedy and the automatic thread cutter saves an impressive amount of time. The only major thing that sewers did not like was the lack of a free arm. Surprisingly, this sewing machine contains a number of features and 11 inches of sewing space, but was not designed to have a free arm. One user also reported that they wanted more than one LED light on the machine.

Overall, the Janome MC-6300P is a well-conceptualized sewing machine. Suitable for any skill level, this sewing machine is exceptionally well-laid out for experienced seamstresses, quilters and crafters.
